While My11Circle replaced Dream11 as an official partner of the Indian Premier League this season, according to a survey conducted by Manifest, the latter emerged as the 'most-recalled' brand.
20.51% of the respondents claimed a Dream11 ad to be their most-recalled during the tournament. In particular, the one featuring KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma and Suniel Shetty stood out for 40% of these respondents.
Astral Pipes was second on the list with 12.82% picking it as their 'most-recalled' ad during the tournament.
SBI was third on the list, with 10.5% respondents recalling this campaign.
In terms of celebrities with the most-recall, MS Dhoni stood out. 28.2% picked Dhoni as the 'most-recalled' brand ambassador. Virat Kohli was second with 23.07%.
74.4% of the respondents claimed that advertisements featuring celebrities had more recall during the tournament.
In terms of viewing mediums, 43.6% used traditional TV to watch the tournament. 30.8% saw the tournament on their mobile phones and 25.6% on connected TV.
76.9% of the respondents couldn't recall a print/OOH/radio ad during this year's tournament.
66.7% of the respondents recalled more ads featuring a team or player he/she supported.
A total of 156 people responded to our survey - 64% were male and 36% female. The average age of our respondents was 29.69.
The 2024 edition of the IPL was won by Kolkata Knight Riders. Only one respondent picked a representative of KKR as their 'most-recalled' celebrity during the tournament, and that was the team co-owner Shah Rukh Khan.
