Design conference Kyoorius Designyatra will be held between 26-28 September 2024 at the Grand Hyatt in Goa. 

Spanning three days, the event will have attendees who intend to celebrate design across a wide spectrum of fields and specialities - from architecture, interiors, branding, illustration, animation, typography and communication to digital, experiential, product, packaging, and more.

The theme for this year is 'Academy of Play', highlighting the importance of playfulness in creativity and urging the design community to explore the role of play in their creative processes. 

The list of speakers are:

1. Aaquib Waani, the talk-of-the-town Indian designer responsible for Team India's kits at the 2024 Olympics and on the international cricket field, among various other accolades.
2. Chip Kidd, the graphic designer known for bringing Jurassic Park to life as well as his memorable work for Peanuts, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, and Haruki Murakami’s 1Q84.
3. Gemma O’Brien, the Australian typographer and lettering artist.
4. Johannes Torpe, interior designer, product designer, and architect who was the first-ever group creative director for Bang & Olufsen, known for his innovative and functional designs that blend aesthetics with practicality.
5. Nassia Inglessis, the artist and engineer behind interactive installations.
6. Paul Cocksedge, the artist and designer whose work often challenges the boundaries of design through playful, thought-provoking installations that explore light and materiality.
7. Akanksha Deo Sharma, in-house designer, Ikea.
8. Ambrish Arora, founding principal, Studio Lotus.
9. Amna Elshandaweely, fashion designer, Amna Elshandaweely.
10. Eva Cremers, 3D artist and animation director.
11. Gianmauro Vella, vice president and head of design APAC and AMESA.
12. Habibeh Madjdabadi, architect and owner, Habibeh Madjdabadi Architecture Studio.
13. Joe Weir, founder and creative director, That Thing.
14. Kaja Solgaard Dahl, Stone Sculptor and product designer, Atelier Kaja Dahl
15. Kimya Gandhi, typeface designer, Mota Italic.

The event culminates on the 28 September with the 2024 Kyoorius Design Awards Night.
