Airbnb has rolled out a campaign, 'Stay Your Way', featuring cricketers Yuvraj Singh, Abhishek Sharma and Naman Dhir.
The campaign comprises an ad film.
After Singh’s viral 'Sharam Karo' reel playfully called out his protégés for never doing anything for him.
In the ad film, Sharma and Dhir decided to make amends with Singh as he called them out in the Instagram post above through a surprise Goa getaway booked through Airbnb. The duo had no itinerary, no reservations and no fixed agenda, which was precisely the point. The film follows the group as they embrace spontaneity at every turn. From convincing their Airbnb host to help curate the perfect pool day and requesting kadhi chawal before cheekily taking credit for the meal, to wrapping up the trip with an impromptu game of gully cricket alongside the Airbnb staff, the holiday unfolds through simple, unscripted moments.
What we think about it: The film succeeds by leaning into the natural camaraderie between Yuvraj Singh, Abhishek Sharma and Naman Dhir, making the brand message feel organic rather than manufactured. While the relaxed, slice-of-life storytelling effectively reinforces Airbnb's 'Stay Your Way' proposition, the brand itself sometimes takes a backseat to the trio's chemistry, leaving the platform's role understated.
The campaign was released on Instagram on 22 June.
