Swiggy has released a campaign #InstaSanta, featuring singer Sukhbir Singh, to highlight Swiggy Instmart's offering of delivering products in 10 minutes.
The film opens with a busy Santa in his workshop where he reveals that he's not the only one delivering Christmas presents all over the world but each region has its own Santa like Tibetan Santa or African Santa. Suddenly, he gets a call from India Santa and sees Singh all dressed up in red and white with a decked up tractor and a fleet of Swiggy Instamart delivery partners. Singh then tells him that it's not India Santa but InstaSanta, spotlighting the platform's offering of delivering anything you want in 10 minutes.
Singh then breaks into a dance on his iconic 'Oh Ho Ho Ho', with Santa joining in on the celebration.
What we think about it: Bringing an Indian twist to the celebration of Christmas lends a fresh perspective to the ad. The ad definitely stands out amidst all the festive advertising clutter. Santa grooving to Sukhbir's iconic number is hilarious and works as the icing on the cake.
