Jitender Dabas exits Cheil X

Joins Omnicom Advertising as CEO, BBDO group.

Jitender Dabas is set to join Omnicom Advertising Group as CEO, BBDO Group. Sources close to the development confirmed this news. 

He joins from Cheil X, where he served as CEO. In his new role, Dabas will lead BBDO Group in India, which includes agencies such as BBDO, Ulka and Mudra.

He will work closely with Josy Paul, chief creative officer, BBDO India.

Dabas joined Cheil in 2025 after a 10-year stint with McCann. McCann was part of IPG which was acquired by Omnicom last year.
