SW Network’s Foldable Print Ad for Cleartrip

Cleartrip has rolled out a print ad that offers a creative solution for those feeling trapped in their daily routines. The advertisement in The Economic Times newspaper allows readers to fold it into a paper plane, scan a QR code, and symbolically ‘throw their stress away’.

The campaign, executed by SW Network (Sociowash), serves as a playful yet powerful reminder to take a break and prioritise self-care by traveling.

What we think about it: Print campaigns that stand out are so hard to come by nowadays that we had to give this one a mention for simply trying. The campaign brings in the playful and nostalgic element of making 'paper rockets,' reminiscent of childhood, and successfully ties it to the symbolic act of pressing pause on life's stressful and mundane routine by literally 'taking off' on a rejuvenating trip.

“Our goal was to bridge the gap between offline engagement and symbolic action. We wanted to offer consumers a tangible interaction that mirrored the essence of Cleartrip’s message—encouraging people to let go of stress and embrace the rejuvenating power of travel,” stated a SW Network spokesperson.

“The foldable paper plane not only symbolises a mental escape but also engages users in a refreshing, hands-on experience. The addition of a QR code bridges the gap between physical and digital worlds, directing users to Cleartrip’s platform for further exploration of travel options. This approach, combining interactive print with digital functionality, exemplifies the new wave of ad creativity that speaks directly to consumers’ desire for meaningful engagement,” the spokesperson added.
