As Valentine’s Day is around the corner, we celebrate the love for the advertising, communications and marketing industries by exploring what makes them truly special.

To mark the occasion, for our February issue, Manifest chatted with industry leaders to understand the one thing they love most about their respective professions. We will be sharing their individual love letters to the industry in alphabetical order as we count down to Valentine's Day.

It is very vibrant. There is never a dull day and no two days are the same. Every high and every low is exaggerated. The industry is ever evolving and you need to keep up with the trends, yet not forget the fundamentals. Right now the buzzwords in our industry are AI, data, personalisation, connected TV, influencers, user-generated content, retail media, and pricing!

We get to work with passionate, talented people who want to make a difference and make an impact. We are on a continuous learning journey. We have the ability to shape societal behaviour and also have the ability to make or break companies and their brands. The ad industry is a fascinating blend of creativity, technology and strategy.
