BigCash has announced the appointment of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui as brand ambassador and rolled out a film featuring him.
Titled 'Bade Kaam Ka Khel' (the game of achieving something big), the film shows Siddiqui at a doctor's clinic. While the doctor is checking Siddiqui, he's on a phone call. During the conversation, he reveals that making money isn't easy and uses the Hindi phrase 'khoon paseena ek karna' which means putting in effort. However, Siddiqui uses the literal translation, which is mixing blood with sweat. He places the doctor on a bed, and takes his blood by pricking him, and then makes him run on a treadmill and gathers his sweat. They mix the both, and then Siddiqui shows how nothing happens. He states how one needs to do something 'big' to earn money and introduces him to the BigCash app.
The film has been conceptualised by Green Giraffe.
What we think about it: The film did catch our attention because of its use of humour and the role reversal between Siddiqui and the doctor was interesting too.
Ankur Singh, CEO, BigCash, said, “Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s journey from humble beginnings to becoming a national icon is a story that resonates deeply with the millions of players on our platform. His authenticity and relatability, especially with audiences from India's heartland, make him the perfect ambassador for BigCash. We’re excited to have him represent our brand as we continue to grow and deliver an unparalleled gaming experience.”
The film is running across TV, radio, social media and digital.
