Epic Condoms has rolled out a campaign, 'Is condom a taboo?' highlighting the importance of female pleasure and choosing the right condom.
The brand has recently appointed actor Radhika Apte as its brand ambassador.
Conceptualised in-house, the campaign which consists of a film showcases Apte striking a conversation around sexual wellness and urging women to not hesitate to have a conversation around intimacy.
What we think about it: Through the campaign, the brand has gone all out to initiate a conversation on why women should pick their condoms. Moving away from the usual narrative wherein the decisions around sexual wellness are mostly made by men, the brand has managed to stand out by urging women to come forward and make an informed decision about the same. While the brand successfully broke the ice around intimacy and sexual wellness, it has also aptly put out its brand offerings in the film.
Rajeev Juneja, managing director and vice chairman, Mankind Pharma, said, “We aim to educate our audience about the importance of choosing the right condom. The campaign highlights that sexual intimacy involves a deep connection between partners, and making informed choices about protection should not be left to anyone else. We are delighted to have Radhika Apte on board, and we strongly feel that Radhika is a complete fit for the brand.”
