Cadbury Perk's 'The Investigation'

Cadbury has rolled out a film titled 'The Investigation' for Cadbury Perk.

Conceptualised by Ogilvy, the campaign comprises a film. It opens with an officer questioning a man (who is munching on his Perk) if he was eating that when he saw the criminal. Instead of saying anything about the criminal, the man begins describing the chocolate, noting that the wafer was less chocolaty and crispy than the one he was eating now. The officer, excited, exclaims that he knew something was different and that the taste has definitely improved. Satisfied, he declares the case closed and walks off, leaving the man bemused.

What we think about it: The ad cleverly uses humour and a lighthearted approach to highlight the improved taste of the chocolate. Overall, the film is clever, engaging, and does a good job of showcasing the product while keeping the tone light and entertaining.

The film released on 16 January.
