Acko has rolled out the second campaign for its health insurance segment, carrying forward its creative partnership with Bollywood’s quirky gangster duo of Sanjay Dutt (Munna Bhai) and Arshad Warsi (Circuit) building on the momentum of its previous campaign.

Conceptualised by Leo Burnett, the latest campaign comprising three films uses the crackling wit and chemistry of the duo to continue challenging conventions in the health insurance space and address real pain points faced by users.

The first film highlights how most health insurance plans limit how much one can spend on a hospital room, with the extra cost for a bigger room impacting one’s whole package of doctor visits, surgery charges, testing, and so on. Thus, one ends up paying way more for one’s hospital bill.

The second and third films continue to simplify health insurance and build trust in the brand by underscoring its real and meaningful benefits.

What we think of it: By adopting an engaging and humorous approach to convey relevant messages, it demonstrates that insurance advertising can effectively move beyond traditional fear-based narratives.
