Parle-G has rolled out a campaign, on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.
Conceptualised by Thought Blurb Communications, the campaign comprises a long-format film. The film features a teacher tending to some trees in a school garden. Upon seeing this, a student comes and questions about why does she look after these few trees herself. The peon then tells her that those trees were gifted to the teacher by the students from her first-ever batch and that's why they hold a special place in her heart. The film culminates with all the students who gifted her those saplings coming to surprise her on her retirement.
What we think about it: The film follows an emotional storytelling and tugs at the heartstrings. But, the brand recall is overshadowed by the narrative and the brand products are not very seamlessly integrated.
The film was released on 29 August.
