Swati Bhattacharya will be joining Godrej Consumer Products' in-house creative studio, Lightbox as global head.

Bhattacharya confirmed the news of her move to Manifest. 

The appointment will be effective from 1 September 2024. She will also be inducted into GCPL's global management committee.

Bhattacharya will be reporting to Sudhir Sitapati, managing director and chief executive officer, GCPL.

In her new role, she will be handling markets like Argentina, Africa, Chile, Indonesia and some others, in addition to India at the agency.

She was the creative chairperson of FCB India till February this year, having joined the agency in 2016. 

Bhattacharya said, "I am passionate about storytelling and was aching for more freedom to create, build, learn, unlearn, incubate and experiment. At Godrej Lighthouse Creative Lab this mindset is intentionally and proactively cultivated. In Nisa Godrej and Sitapati, I have two of the greatest collaborators any creative could ask for. This is the most important 'yes' I have said in a long long time."
