Interpublic Group and Tata Consultancy Services are currently in talks for the former to sell its digital agency R/GA to the latter. R/GA is a R/GA digital design and advertising agency, headquartered in New York City. It has global offices in Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, London, Berlin, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Singapore, Shanghai, Sydney and Tokyo. 

According to a Wall Street Journal report, the agency could be sold for a figure close to USD 300 million to the Indian business conglomerate. 

According to sources, TCS has been in the market scouting for Indian independent agencies for a few years but nothing has materialised.

R/GA was launched in 1977 by Robert M. Greenberg and Richard Greenberg. It became part of IPG in 2001.
