Fireflies.ai founder and CEO Krish Ramineni has invested in Rotterdam Dockers, one of the six franchises competing in the inaugural European T20 Premier League (ETPL).

Ramineni joins former South Africa cricketers Jonty Rhodes, Faf du Plessis and Heinrich Klaasen, actor and sports entrepreneur John Abraham, and managing director Madhukar Shree in the franchise's ownership group. The ETPL is an ICC-sanctioned T20 franchise tournament featuring six teams and is aimed at expanding the sport across Ireland, Scotland and the Netherlands.

Ramineni founded Fireflies.ai, an AI productivity platform focused on meeting transcription, summaries and workflow automation. He is also an early investor in companies including OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity and SpaceX.

The inaugural edition of the ETPL will be held from 26 August to 20 September 2026, with Voorburg, the Netherlands, and Dublin, Ireland, serving as host cities.
