ITC has rolled out a campaign consisting of a film to take forward its Savlon Swasth India Mission. Through a humourous film conceptualised by Ogilvy which shows a couple at a date, it urges the viewer to consider a question - are your hands your own?

In the film, the girl is shown looking to feed the boy french fries, but just before she does, the voiceover stops her to inform her that until she washes her hands, they're not her own, because of the germs she would have accumulated on the way. It goes on to state that the only way to get rid of these germs is to use handwash or soap.

What we think about it: While it opened with a regular date setting, we loved the way the hand keeps changing depending on Shalini's activities before reaching the date. And during the current awards season, good to see a 'cause-related' film to deliver the right message to its audience.

The film was rolled out on 5 May across social media.
