Cleartrip has rolled out a campaign 'Explore Hotels by Vibe' featuring veteran cricketer MS Dhoni and YouTuber Ajey Nagar a.k.a CarryMinati. Conceptualised by Braindad, the campaign comprising a film aims to showcase the online travel portal’s latest feature.
In the ad film, MS Dhoni and CarryMinati team up for the OTP brand's shoot, supposedly to highlight its newest feature. However, things quickly go off script as the duo engages in a humorous back-and-forth about their expectations from the shoot.
As CarryMinati attempts to explain the 'vibes' feature to the former Indian cricket captain , it becomes comically clear that neither of them has any clue about the agreed 'terms and conditions' for the ad film shoot. In the resulting fallout of the 'misunderstanding', tempers flare, ending with the YouTuber storming off the set and Dhoni refusing to continue, leaving the hapless crew stranded.
What we think about it: The unlikely combo of MS Dhoni and CarryMinati join forces to knock it out of the park, aided by a hilarious script of an ad film shoot gone wrong. The result is a fun-filled mashup of cricket, gaming, and travel!
