Komerz India partners with Globe Grocer India
Aims to expand the reach of global food and beverage brands.
Komerz India, the regional arm of global commercial growth platform Komerz, has entered into a strategic partnership with Globe Grocer India to strengthen the distribution and growth of international food and beverage brands in the Indian market.
The collaboration brings together Globe Grocer India’s expertise in sourcing, imports, and global brand partnerships with Komerz India’s omnichannel distribution network, commercial execution capabilities, and route-to-market expertise.
Under the agreement, Globe Grocer India will continue to oversee sourcing, import operations and relationships with international brand owners. Komerz India will be responsible for driving nationwide distribution and market expansion across General Trade, Modern Trade, HoReCa, B2B, E-commerce, Quick Commerce and other emerging retail channels.
The partnership is already active across a portfolio of international brands, including Prime Hydration, Trident Gum, Frito Lay’s, Milka Chocolates, Poppi, RFYL, Ah-ssa Eat, Bak-BAK and OooKnafa. The companies also plan to introduce additional global brands to the Indian market in the coming months.
Imported food and beverage brands in India have traditionally faced challenges in scaling distribution despite strong consumer demand, often due to fragmented market access and limited offline presence. Through this partnership, Komerz India and Globe Grocer India aim to address these challenges by combining global sourcing capabilities with local distribution and execution at scale.
