Wieden+Kennedy and Jindal Steel settle dispute out of court

Last week, the Delhi High Court had ruled Jindal Steel guilty in an idea theft case against W+K.

W+K pursued legal action post abrupt termination by brand after contract dispute.

Last week, the Delhi High Court had revealed that Jindal Steel's 'Steel of India' campaign rolled out in March, was bearing a 'striking resemblance' to an idea presented by its agency Wieden+Kennedy. 

This was after the client had parted ways with the agency. 

The court case has now been 'amicably resolved' through an out of court settlement between the two parties, according to sources.
